A lot of you might have heard about the crises in Venezuela at the moment through the media. Although many blame Maduro for the fall of the economy in Venezuela the situation is in fact much more complicated than that. Also, it hasn't gotten much worse for the people over the last few months on account of Maduro alone, why then does Richard Branson want to interveine with his "Live Aid" all of a sudden? I am not a specialist on politics or economy but to me it looks like the US is aiming to take over control of the country (wealthy in natural resources) and is doing this using the same media exploits it has done in the past with many other conflicts. Yes, the people of Venezuela are rioting but this is nothing unusual for countries in South America wanting a political change. The problem with these riots is much more that they can easly be manipulated into looking like an all out emergency situation through the media.
I am very much for humanitarian aid however think it should be nonpolitical. The way it is being done at the moment, with US military planes flying to the Venezuelan boarder and openly invading the country stating they only want to help for me is a sure sign of false intentions. Here a video post from Roger Waters explaining my doubts in an effective way. Keep an open mind but make your own assesments on the topic. Peace!
